What Medicaid can cover at home

Depending on the member’s needs and plan, Medicaid programs such as STAR+PLUS can cover in-home services like personal care (help with bathing, dressing, meals, and household tasks) and home health. TrueCare will help you confirm eligibility and authorization before services begin.

01Does TrueCare accept Medicaid?
Yes. TrueCare accepts Medicaid, including STAR+PLUS through Superior HealthPlan, as well as UnitedHealthcare.
02What is STAR+PLUS?
STAR+PLUS is a Texas Medicaid managed care program for adults who have disabilities or are age 65 or older. It can include services that help people live safely at home. TrueCare works with STAR+PLUS through Superior HealthPlan.
03Can you help us apply for Medicaid?
Yes. If your loved one does not have Medicaid yet, the TrueCare team can help you understand eligibility and guide you through applying for coverage, in English or Spanish.
